Nach dem tanz ( 1876 ) ist ein ölgemälde der engländer Pre-Raphaelite maler john william waterhouse . das bild zeigt ein römisches interieur , mit einem teil des atriums und einem blick in den hof dahinter . Zwei figuren , ein junge und ein mädchen , auf kissen zurücklehnen , einer saß und der andere lag träge mit einem tamburin daneben auf dem pflaster . In der ferne vervollständigt eine gruppe von minnesängern ganz links die komposition .
